Loads of RAM and storage
This build features 32GB of 6000MHz DDR5 RAM, which is an excellent amount to have in this type of build. For gaming, it’s going to help reduce microstuttering and give you some headroom for more demanding AAA titles and future releases. For heavy creative work, having this amount of RAM is practically essential, as it allows you to edit huge, complex projects without your system grinding to a crawl. It’s also a winner for streaming, too, and other types of heavy multitasking.
Top-end Intel processor for gaming, with outstanding workstation capabilities
This build packs a powerhouse processor, in the form of the Intel Core i9-14900KF, which is a very strong all-rounder option for gaming, content creation, and productivity. It features a boost clock speed of 6GHz and a large 36MB L3 cache, which makes it a great pick for 1440p and 4K gaming at higher framerates, with lower frame latency. The big thing here is its massive core and thread count, which comes in at 24 (8P + 16E) and 32. That’s much more substantial than the popular Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is also often found paired with the RTX 5070 Ti at this price point, and makes this build a very good option for creative professionals, streamers, content creators, and power users. Stylish, high-quality design with a powerful cooling solution
This PC case features curved, tempered glass panels, which look incredible, and also give you a full view into its inner workings, much of which is covered in aRGB lighting. Its cooling system is also top-tier, which is great considering the i9-14900KF can run pretty hot. You’ve got ten aRGB fans in this build and a 360mm AIO cooling solution to keep everything running at its best, even under heavy and sustained loads.
Things to consider and potential alternatives
In short, since this PC has a 14th-gen Intel CPU, if you wanted to upgrade to a newer Intel Core Ultra option, you’d need a new LGA 1851 socket-compatible motherboard. That’s not a big deal if you’re planning on sticking with the i9-14900KF for a while, but it’s worth factoring in. Ryzen AM5 CPUs are going to give you something more future-proof and a platform that’s easier to upgrade on; however, if you’re sticking to this price point, you’ll be looking at lower core count Ryzen X3D options, like the Ryzen 7 9800X3D. Great for gaming, but the i9-14900KF has the edge for productivity, content creation, and demanding creative workflows. For a solid, Intel alternative that’s more future-proof, check out some of the RTX 5070 Ti, Intel Core Ultra 7 270K models. This ABS Kaze gaming PC is a good shout, and is currently on sale at Newegg, too.
