The Ryzen 7 9800X3D is one of the best gaming CPUs on the market, and is a very strong choice for the RX 9070 XT. It packs a huge 96MB L3 cache and 5.2GHz boost clock speed, which makes it a powerhouse for high fps gaming with low frame latency and improve 1% lows. It also has 8 cores and 16 threads, giving it decent multitasking capabilities and making it a solid choice for streaming, recording gameplay, and running background applications like Discord. It’s also generally more affordable now that more X3D processors have been released, and it boasts improvements to thermals, helping it run cooler even under heavy and sustained loads. RX 9070 XT graphics card

A fantastic graphics card for 1440p and entry-level 4K gaming, that’s arguably one of the best on the market from a price-to-performance perspective. It has 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM and is built on RNDA 4 architecture and features improved AI and ray tracing performance, alongside the latest FSR4 technology. In terms of raw performance, it’s a close competitor to the RTX 5070 Ti, but ultimately falls slightly short due to the 5070 Ti’s more advanced ray tracing and AI capabilities, and newer GDDR7 VRAM. You may want to check out some RTX 5070 Ti, Ryzen 7 9800X3D models as they’re not a million miles away from this one in terms of pricing, and will offer better overall performance, especially if you’re a content creator. This ABS Kaze gaming PC would be a good option to go for, and it’s only $100 more right now at Newegg. You may also want to consider something like an RX 9070 XT, Intel CPU if you’re looking for better multicore performance, as these typically have much higher core counts than your standard X3D models. I’d say something like the Intel Core Ultra 7-265K would be a decent option for the RX 9070 XT, which gives you more future proofing than a 14th-gen alternative.
