You have to keep an eye out across retailers to get the very best graphics card prices. They’re not always obvious, and the Asus Prime RX 9070 XT White OC edition is a great example. The 4K-capable graphics card is now back to its lowest price since February. However, you may not notice unless you’re tracking prices, which is why we’re happy to highlight it. Now $757.78, the card is $40 below its average Amazon price of $797.67, according to Camelcamelcamel.

Why we like the Prime RX 9070 XT White OC Edition

Standout style and substance

White graphics cards look great, even if they don’t match the rest of your setup. Still, the Asus Prime RX 9070 XT White OC Edition can bring harmony to your white system – or a pop of contrast – and added performance with an OC mode up to 3030 MHz (Boost Clock), or up to 2480 MHz (Game Clock).

A true 4K GPU

As we noted in our hands-on review of the Asus Prime RX 9070 XT, this is a true 4K graphics card. It performs at around RTX 4080 levels, and stacks up well compared to the much more expensive RTX 5070 Ti. If cost is a concern, but you want smooth 4K frame rates across titles, it’s a solid performance pick.

Plenty of VRAM

The 16GB VRAM in the Prime RX 9070 XT will mean smoother performance at high resolutions. It also means you can more flexibly use your graphics card for multitasking. So, if you want to stream on a platform like Twitch or YouTube, or game while recording, you’ll find it a lot easier.

What to consider before you buy

The key consideration for this card is that the black version of the Prime RX 9070 XT White OC is a less expensive option. Right now, you can pick up that card for around $715 (from the same product page). So unless you specifically want a white GPU, that variant offers better value.

The other thing to consider is how much you value Nvidia’s feature set, including DLSS. In terms of raw performance, this card has a lot to offer. But if you want Team Green’s tech, you’ll need to spend more for a proper 4K GPU. Check out our best graphics cards for gaming for a rundown of the top options.
