What we like about this Lenovo Legion Pro 7i gaming laptop
Stunning OLED display
You’ve got a 16-inch 2.5K OLED display here, with a high 240Hz refresh rate. These types of screens essentially tick all the boxes, giving you something that’s going to deliver incredible contrast, peak brightness, and color accuracy for lifelike picture quality and professional creative work, and is fast enough for competitive gaming, too.
One of the best mobile GPUs from the 50-series
This laptop features an RTX 5070 Ti, which we’d say is the sweet spot for 1440p and 1600p resolution gaming, as it’s significantly less expensive than an RTX 5080 mobile, but only beaten by around 15% to 18% at QHD. It’s a very strong card from a price-to-performance perspective, and wth 12GB of GDDR7, it’s also an excellent choice for creatives working on more complex projects, too.
Top-tier CPU for gaming and productivity
You’ve got an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX here, which is one of the top-tier offerings only really found in the best gaming laptops on the market. It features 24 cores and 24 threads, a boost clock speed of 5.4GHz, and a large 36MB L3 cache, which basically makes it as good for handling heavy multitasking, creative, and productivity workflows as it is for high refresh rate, low frame latency gaming.
Load of high-speed RAM
This build packs 32GB of DDR5, which is going to dramatically improve gaming performance and give you plenty of headroom for work on larger, more complex projects in applications like Blender and Premiere Pro.
