Mid-range 40″ ultrawide monitor sighted at its best price ever on Amazon — a great pick for gaming and productivity
Table of Contents
This Innocn 40-inch monitor is currently at its lowest price ever on Amazon, with a hefty 25% discount sinking its price down to $449.99. If you’re looking for a larger productivity display that’s creator-friendly and packs decent gaming features, but at a price point that makes sense, then this is well worth a look while it’s still reduced.
As mentioned, this monitor is essentially a productivity, creator, and gaming monitor rolled into one, and it’s solid for all three. First off, you’ve obviously got the larger WQHD display, which gives you more room to work with and offers a greater sense of immersion when gaming. It’s great if you’re working on multiple windows, in creative apps like Premiere Pro, playing games in ultrawide, and more. Gaming performance is decent, as it packs a 200Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and FreeSync Premium, all of which are going to ensure smooth gameplay with reduced screen tearing and stutter. For color-sensitive edits, its 100% sRGB and 95% DCI-P3 color wth Delta E<2 accuracy are not bad at all and will be adequate for most creatives working in video, photography, graphic design, and so on. Notably, it features USB-C with 65 power delivery, allowing for single cable laptop connections for display and charging.
What we like about this Innocn 40-inch WQHD monitor
Great for gaming with a wider field of view and primed for workstation usage
It may sound obvious, but it’s notably larger than your typical 34-inch monitor, and provides both a greater sense of immersion when gaming, and provides more of a multi-monitor experience in one display.

Well balanced performance for the price
In my experience, I tend to find that flat-screen ultrawides this size tend to be very strong for one use, and slightly less impressive for others. This monitor is solid for productivity, creativity, and gaming, without under-delivering in any particular area.
USB-C with PD is genuinely a standout feature
This is a great quality-of-life feature to have that’s not always a given on monitors in general. It’s a premium feature, as it really does improve workflows when working on laptops and reduces cable clutter, too, for a cleaner looking setup.
Who is this deal for?
This is really for those who have a gaming, productivity, and creative setup and tend to lean towards more immersive titles. I think this monitor would suit video editors making online content, in particular, thanks to its decent 95% DCI-P3 color gamut and wider screen. For gaming, I’d say that having something like an RTX 5070 build, potentially an RX 9070 XT, would be a decent option to make the most of this monitor’s 3440 x 1440p resolution and 200Hz refresh rate.
