Newegg deal sinks price of RTX 5070, Ultra 7 270K Plus build with 32GB of DDR5 — a superb all-rounder pick
Table of Contents
I’ve been seeing a lot of solid Stormcraft gaming PC deals on Newegg recently, and I think they’re well worth checking out if you’re looking for something that’s more than simply a good CPU, GPU, and a healthy amount of RAM. This Stormcraft Valkyrie, for instance, is down $340 and comes in at $2059.99. That’s a very good price, as this PC packs an RTX 5070, Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, and 32GB of DDR5, but also is equipped with a powerful 850W PSU, 360mm AIO cooler, seven fans, and all housed in a super-stylish and roomy PC case. In fact, both Stormcraft’s Valkyrie and Falcon series builds are, at least in my opinion, some of the best-looking prebuilds I’ve come across recently.
STORMCRAFT Gaming PC VALKYRIE, GeForce RTX 5070
As usual, I’ll break down this build’s key features and why they make it stand out from the crowd, but if you’re short on time, here’s what you need to know. This build is essentially a QHD gaming PC, but with excellent productivity and multitasking capabilities, thanks to its higher-core-count CPU. It’s also more future-facing for upgrades, not only due to its already ample cooling architecture and 850W PSU, but also thanks to its LGA 1851 socket CPU. Pricing-wise, it’s on the upper end of what you’d usually pay for an RTX 5070 PC, but it makes a lot of sense given its configuration, design, and ‘more than just gaming’ processor.
What we like about this Stormcraft Valyrie RTX 5070 gaming PC
Excellent, recently released all-rounder processor
This Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is a solid level up from the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K, and boasts 24 cores, 24 threads, a 5.5GHz boost clock speed, and 36MB L3 cache. Essentially, it’s adept for gaming, especially at QHD, where the RTX 5070 works best, and can handle heavy multitasking and creative workloads arguably better than your typical Ryzen 7 X3D models.

Excellent graphics card for QHD and creative work
The RTX 5070 is a cracking graphics card for QHD, with 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM and Blackwell features and improvements that help it punch above its weight. Loads of DDR5 RAM is great for gaming and unlocks improved workstation capabilities
With 32GB of DDR5, games will play with less micro-stuttering, and this PC will be better equipped for future AAA releases, too. But on top of that, it’s going to give you plenty of headroom for heavier-duty creative workflows and multitasking.
Punchy cooling system and PSU make this a more complete PC
With an 850W PSU, 360mm AIO cooler, and seven fans, you’ve got more than enough power and thermal management for this configuration and beyond.
