This ABS Cyclone Aqua build is going for a pretty competitive price right now at Newegg, with its initial discount boosted by a further $70 off with promo code SSF73225. This is an RTX 5060 PC with an Intel Core i5-14400F, 32GB of DDR4, and is designed primarily for FHD gaming with modern Blackwell features, like MFG, and even doubles up quite well as a budget-friendly content creation and workstation build, too. As mentioned, the RTX 5060 8GB brings with it exclusive gaming features that can help it punch above its weight, but it’s also a solid, cost-effective pick for creatives, especially those working in video editing. It features advanced 9th-gen Nvidia Encoders, for speedier, less CPU-intensive exports, and it also supports AV1 encoding, which is excellent for streamers and content creators, in particular. Apps like Blender, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Premiere Pro can also use this graphics card to accelerate rendering tasks, making for speedier workflows.

On the CPU front, it may be an older 14th-gen model, but the i5-14400F is still a well-balanced offering for gaming, multitasking, and productivity. It features 10 cores, 16 threads, a 20MB L3 cache, and a 4.7 GHz boost clock speed, which complements the RTX 5060 well without being overly specced or overly expensive, as would arguably be the case with something like an i7-14700F, for instance.

32GB of DDR4 brings enough headroom for more demanding games, future releases, heavier multitasking, and more, and its 1TB SSD provides enough space for larger modern AAA titles, granted you don’t plan on building an enormous library. It also packs an entirely appropriate air cooler and 650W PSU, which again is a smart choice given this PC’s GPU and CPU, and overall budget-friendly offering.

Who is the gaming PC deal for?

If you’re looking for something for 1080p gaming, content creation, and productivity, and don’t mind going with something less future-facing than an AM5 or LGA 1851 alternative build, this is a strong pick for the price. ABS PCs are highly regarded for their build quality and price-to-performance offerings, which adds a layer of appeal here, too. From a design perspective, it may not be that flashy, but with a touch of aRGB and tempered glass, it’ll still make a great-looking addition to any setup.
