What we like about this Skytech Gaming 011 Vision gaming PC
Powerhouse graphics card for 1440p and 4K gaming
This build features an RTX 5080 graphics card, which is one of the best you can get for very strong 1440p and 4K performance. It’s built on Nvidia’s new Blackwell architecture, and features ‘next-gen’ components, such as 4th-gen ray tracing cores, 5th-gen tensor cores, and faster, high bandwidth GDDR7 VRAm, of which this card has 16GB. With 4K performance, while the RTX 5070 Ti is capable, the RTX 5080 is far superior at more demanding settings, especially with ray tracing, and when DLSS and MFG are used. For demanding creative workflows, it’s also a winner, as its raw power, coupled with its AI capabilities, can make short work out of complex tasks, like working in 3D or complex video editing. One of the best gaming CPUs on the market
This build features a Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is one of the very best gaming CPUs you can get right now. It boasts unique 3D V-cache technology, which means you’re getting an L3 cache that’s absolutely massive. In this case, it’s 96MB, which, when combined with a boost clock speed of 5.2GHz, allows you to hit very high framerates with low frame latency and imroevd 1% lows. On the content creation front, it’s not bad either, as it features 8 cores and 16 threads, which make it great at handling streaming and running background applications, and more complex creative workflows. Loads of storage for a beefy games collection
You’ve got a 2TB SSD here, which is more than enough to house a vast number of games, and with some AAA titles tipping the scales at 100GB, it’s a smart option to go for, too. It’s also a good way to go if you’re looking to house your creative projects and games on the same SSD, where a standard 1TB SSD would fill up very quickly in this scenario.
A hefty amount of RAM for super smooth gaming and multitasking
This build features 32GB of DDR5, which is going to be significantly better than 16GB at improving overall gaming performance, especially with demanding AAA titles. It’s also going to give you much more bandwidth when it comes to streaming and recording gameplay, and gives you some more headroom for future game releases, too.
Things to consider
So you can get cheaper than this build and roughly the same specs if you hunt around, if you’re okay with slightly less premium components. From my experience, Andromeda Insights gaming PCs are a big win from a price-to-performance perspective, and they look great, too, with super stylish PC cases, similar to this Skyetch option, in fact. This Andromeda Insights RTX 5080, Ryzen 7 9800X3D gaming PC is a build that’s been standing out to me this week on Newegg, which I’d recommend as a more affordable alternative. It’s currently on sale, too, and well below $3,000.
