The Skytech Shadow 5 is a beast of a gaming processor, as it is built to handle resource-intensive workflows and heavy multitasking with ease. This is thanks to the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus, Intel’s best processor, paired with the RTX 5070 for serious graphics performance. Why you should go for the Shadow 5 gaming PC
Core Ultra 7 270K Plus is a beast
This processor is a productivity monster that has pretty much the same design as the Core Ultra 9 285K, with 24 cores and threads, etc. However, it supports faster DDR5 RAM speeds and is a newer offering that straight up outperforms the 285K in games and drives similar performance in multi-threaded workflows. What makes it better is the lower price tag, meaning there is no real reason to opt for the 285K now. It can handle running simulations, heavy multitasking, code compilation, data compression, and more without breaking a sweat.

RTX 5070 is a high-value GPU
Here at PC Guide, we’ve had the pleasure of reviewing the PNY RTX 5070 Slim OC, MSI Gaming Trio RTX 5070 OC, and the ASUS TUF RTX 5070 OC. For the price point, this is a very decent GPU and can tackle 1440p like a walk in the park. Its 12GB GDDR7 VRAM will give this gaming PC dedicated graphics processing power, which will streaming like ray tracing, AI, creative, and other GPU-intensive workflows. We were surprised to see how much DLSS has improved, as it enabled this card to handle Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K ultra settings with ray tracing ramped up to overdrive. For a detailed breakdown, we would recommend checking out our reviews.
360mm AIO can give you better output
When you have a performance beast such as the 270K Plus on your hands, it only makes sense that you mount a high-end CPU cooler on top of it. This processor has a peak TDP of 250W, meaning that it’ll also generate a good amount of heat, and to ensure that thermals don’t impact performance, the heat needs to be moved away from the cores in an efficient manner. This is where the 360mm AIO will shine, as it’ll allow you to push the limits of this CPU without worrying about the thermal fallback.
32GB DDR5 RAM is great for a modern PC
32GB DDR5 RAM gives this build plenty of headroom for heavy processing, multitasking, and more. You can easily run various apps and processes in parallel, such as playing a game while recording and streaming it, talking to your friends on Discord, etc. More memory also means that more data can be stored, allowing the CPU to easily pull the next batch in line and do what it is best at. There is no waiting or heavy datasets being broken into pieces to fit in the RAM, making the processing pipeline smooth and efficient.
