RTX 5070 Ryzen 9 7900X gaming PC still at its lowest price in value-focused Amazon deal
Table of Contents
Among recent gaming PC deals we’ve spotted, one has stayed around for longer than expected. That’s good news if you’re seeking a Socket AM5 system with one eye on future processor upgrades, since this iBuyPower Element will be a solid mid-range machine with drop-in upgrade potential for the coming years. At $1,900, the Amazon deal still has it at $300 below its list price. And given this is a system capable of some generous gaming and productivity performance, there’s plenty to like.
Why we like the iBuyPower Element RTX 5070 PC
Ryzen 9 performance
This PC’s Ryzen 9 7900X may be last-generation, but it’s still Socket AM5 and a Ryzen 9 processor that can support the strongest consumer graphics cards on the market. Its 12-core, 24-thread configuration performs impressively in multi-core media and productivity tasks, and has plenty of punch for gaming, sitting just behind the Ryzen 7 9700X.
1440p gaming
The RTX 5070’s credentials as a solid graphics card for 1440p are established. The Blackwell architecture allows the 5070 to stretch its legs to 4K in some less demanding games, but breezy 2K performance is assured, as is access to Nvidia’s highly-vaunted AI-powered features like DLSS and MFG.

Ample RAM,
It’s unusual for this writer to point to RAM specifically, but 32GB of DDR5 RAM is a good inclusion, capacity-wise, providing a fair amount of headroom for productivity and gaming where 16GB may feel underwhelming.
Style
It would be remiss of us not to point out how smart this system looks. As a white gaming system with black components, it really catches the eye. And the inclusion of a white ARGB AIO cooler and ARGB case fans adds to the flair and aesthetic charm.
What to consider before you buy
This Amazon deal is a really decent pick, and the last-gen CPU shouldn’t be a negative. This system will deliver ample productivity performance, and it can easily power 1440p gaming in modern titles. So where are the talking points? The 32GB of DDR5 RAM is great to see, but do note it’s DDR5 4800MHz. This is the base DDR5 spec, so if you prefer a little more oomph, take note. Further, if you’re keen on raw gaming performance, compare to systems with an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D/9800X3D and an RX 9070 XT GPU.
