Massive 18″ display
This gaming laptop features an 18″ display with a QHD+ resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, delivering a solid combination of visual clarity and gaming performance. Its 16:10 aspect ratio brings additional vertical space, which is useful for editing timelines, working with documents, and multitasking. The screen covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, supporting vivid and rich visuals. The high refresh rate ensures smoother motion during fast-paced games, making it easier to follow opponents in competitive shooters and racing titles. The matte finish and up to 500 nits of brightness help minimize reflections and keep the display visible in bright settings.
99Wh battery for longer sessions
The Zero 18 Pro has a very large 99Wh battery for a gaming laptop, which is useful for allowing you to run unplugged when you are doing less demanding tasks like browsing, writing, watching videos, and using less demanding productivity apps without needing to go near an outlet. Still, intense games and GPU-heavy creative workloads use a whole lot more energy, so you can expect reduced battery life there. For peak gaming performance, you will want to leave the laptop plugged into the socket, since this gives the CPU and GPU a higher power limit.
270W power release with the Phoenix 2.0 cooling system
The ZERO 18 Pro can deliver up to 270W of combined CPU and GPU power during intensive workloads, supporting its high-performance components when games and creative applications require maximum effort. Its cooling system features three fans and seven heat pipes to direct heat away from the processor and graphics card, with the manufacturer’s thermal design working to sustain performance during long gaming sessions. Effective cooling is important because it helps prevent thermal throttling, where high temperatures cause components to reduce their speeds. As a result, this laptop is built to take advantage of its advanced hardware, though actual power and performance will vary given the selected mode, workload, and surrounding temperature.
