RTX 5090 and 9800X3D PC deal has price slashed by $600 in this Memorial Day offer on Newegg
Table of Contents
The GIGABYTE AORUS SUPREME 5 is a genuinely premium RTX 5090 desktop with very few weak points. Between the 9800X3D, X870E motherboard, Gen5 SSD, 64GB DDR5, and strong cooling, it is built like a true flagship system. Gaming performance will be exceptional, with the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D helping maximize CPU-limited performance and the NVIDIA RTX 5090 driving demanding visuals at high resolutions – easily taking on any title at 4K on max settings just using pure rasterization performance (although DLSS 4.5 and MFG can give you even more of a performance boost should you wish). It should be particularly impressive with high-refresh rate 4K monitors or ultrawide OLED displays. For productivity, the Gen5 SSD, 64GB RAM, and RTX 5090 make it well suited to rendering, editing, AI workflows, and large creative projects.

What we like about this GIGABYTE AORUS SUPREME 5 RTX 5090 gaming PC
Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5090 is a dream gaming combo
The AORUS SUPREME 5 pairs AMD’s Ryzen 7 9800X3D with an AORUS GeForce RTX 5090, which is one of the strongest gaming combinations available. The 9800X3D’s 96MB L3 cache is ideal for maximizing frame rates and keeping gameplay smooth, while the RTX 5090 provides the GPU power needed for 4K ultra settings, ray tracing, and AI-enhanced rendering. This makes the system particularly well suited to high-refresh rate ultrawide and 4K gaming. It should also be a strong fit for demanding games with path tracing or heavy visual effects, especially when DLSS 4 is enabled.

Premium X870E motherboard platform
The inclusion of an AORUS X870E motherboard gives this PC a high-end foundation. X870E provides a modern AM5 platform with PCIe 5.0 support, strong power delivery, and better long-term expansion options than more basic motherboard choices. That matters in a system at this level, as it gives users more flexibility for future GPU, SSD, and memory upgrades. The board also includes 2.5G Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and a broad rear I/O layout, making it better equipped for premium peripherals and fast networking.
Fast Gen5 storage and 64GB DDR5 memory
The 2TB AORUS Gen5 14000 SSD is a major highlight, with quoted sequential reads up to 14,500MB/s and writes up to 12,700MB/s. While gaming load times will not always scale perfectly with Gen5 speeds, this level of storage is excellent for large file transfers, video editing, content creation, and heavy project work. The 64GB of DDR5 memory also gives this system more headroom than typical 32GB gaming PCs. That is useful for creators, streamers, developers, and users who regularly run multiple demanding applications at once.
High-quality cooling and power delivery
The AORUS 360mm liquid cooler should help keep the Ryzen 7 9800X3D under control during extended sessions, while the 1000W 80+ Platinum ATX 3.1 power supply gives the RTX 5090 a more robust power platform. That is especially important with flagship graphics cards, where transient power spikes and sustained load stability matter. The AORUS case also uses a tempered glass side panel and RGB Fusion 2.0 lighting control, making it a strong choice for users who want premium aesthetics as well as performance.
Who’s this RTX 5090 gaming PC suitable for?
This is aimed at enthusiast gamers, creators, and power users who want a premium prebuilt with flagship components throughout. It is ideal for 4K gaming, ray tracing, VR, content creation, streaming, and heavy multitasking.
