In the current landscape, all eyes are on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, but the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is still a very strong processor, especially in gaming. It delivers excellent 1% lows at any resolution, and you can have mental peace knowing that this CPU won’t be holding back the RX 9070 XT or any graphics card for that matter. The downside to this processor is that it isn’t the best for heavy productivity, as its design doesn’t allow it to be overclocked, and the overall output is much better with other offerings.
That being said, if heavy productivity isn’t on your list, you have nothing to worry about; for anything else, it is more than enough. Another advantage of having an all-AMD build is Smart Access Memory, which allows the CPU to access the full VRAM of the GPU instead of in chunks, leading to enhanced gaming performance.
