Samsung Galaxy S25+ deal dramatically cuts price at Amazon – an upgrade for less
Table of Contents
Getting the most value out of a smartphone upgrade often means buying the previous generation. And the unlocked Samsung Galaxy S25+ is currently well below its $1,000 list price on Amazon. Right now, you can pick up the phone for a surprisingly low $680. That’s still a large amount to spend, but it’s also a $320 (32%) saving on a device that could be a serious step up from an older Android option.

Why we like the Samsung Galaxy S25+
Exceptional performance
Released in 2025, the S25+ remains a phone with phenomenal performance. That’s down to its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and 12GB of RAM. It was the fastest mobile system-on-a-chip at launch, making the S25+ perfect for multitasking, gaming, and blazing-fast Android performance, all while still keeping cool.
Outstanding cameras
Reviewers and users agree that the 50MP, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP telephoto (rear), and 12MP front-facing cameras are sublime. Although the Plus lacks the 5x optical of the S25 Ultra, the quality across the cameras is highly rated – and enhanced by Samsung’s ProVisual Engine for elements including skin tone, color enhancement, and capturing texture.

Excellent battery life
The S25+ excels in many ways, but battery matters, and it outdoes the Ultra. Up to 14 hours of mixed use is to be expected with the phone’s 4900mAh battery. Given the fast performance and overall quality (and its 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen), that’s not shabby at all.
What to consider before you buy
The Samsung Galaxy S25+ is positioned between the S25 and the S25 Ultra, so it’s worth comparing the three to see which model best suits your needs. However, we haven’t spotted deals for either of the other two models, so that may be a moot point if you’re keen on value as the key factor in a new smartphone. And value there is, since the S25+ remains an outstanding Android phone, and we’ve not seen a better discount than this yet.
