The ASUS Prime RTX 5080 is a powerhouse from the affordable ASUS Prime lineup, and Newegg shaved $105 off its asking price, making it a tempting offering. The original price was $1,469.99, but with this deal, you can grab it for $1,364.99, which is $105 saved. This is one of the best graphics cards on the planet, and with its high core count and 16GB GDDR7 VRAM, tackling resource-heavy workflows like rendering, editing, AI, and more becomes a walk in the park.

So, for professionals, gamers, content creators, and scientists, it is a great GPU to grab for less, but it doesn’t end there. What this beast is capable of

Streamlines professional content creation and AI workflows

The RTX 5080 is decked out with the Blackwell architecture and next-gen cores. When it comes to content creation, the 16GB of VRAM, combined with the 256-bit interface width and a maximum bandwidth of 960 GB/s, effectively removes bottlenecks. This helps when you’re dealing with heavy textures or high-resolution packages and images, commonly found when you’re working with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Besides that, the encoders and decoders are also exceptional as they boost hardware acceleration, allowing for quicker scrubbing.

The 5th-gen Tensor cores give this GPU its AI capabilities and enable it to handle large generative AI models with ease, without consuming a lot of VRAM. LLMs are also processed faster, and a layer of security is added as you don’t need to rely on cloud processing, and all the sensitive data is kept locally.
