Why this gaming PC caught our attention
It features the best gaming CPU
Any gaming PC with the Ryzen 7 9800X3D has insane value, as there is no other processor that offers this level of well-rounded performance and just downright insane gaming output. Not even the RTX 5090 is able to bottleneck it at 1080p, and when it comes to productivity, we saw it outperforming the Ryzen 7 9700X, and that was at base settings. PBO or custom overclocking should push it to deliver even better figures across the board, and for the full details, we recommend you check out our in-depth review.

4K gaming, editing, AI, and other tasks are a breeze with the RTX 5080
With the RTX 5080 in this gaming setup, you won’t have to check game requirements ever again, as it can make quick work of any title at native 4K. However, if you have a 1440p OLED gaming monitor or even 1600p, the gaming potential gets significantly better, as this resolution is even easier for this gaming beast to handle. That being said, when we move on to productivity tasks such as 3D rendering, AI, LLMs, and more, the 16GB VRAM, combined with Studio drives and other technologies, allows it to churn out some of the best results in the industry.
If you want a complete picture of what it is capable of, we recommend you check out the RTX 5080 FE, the ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080 OC, and the ASUS RTX 5080 OC Noctua Edition reviews that we’ve done here at PC Guide. We put these GPUs through thorough testing, paired with the same processor, so the results should be similar to what you’ll get with this prebuilt PC.
Robust X870 foundation with 360mm liquid cooling for stable overclocking
You could have the best hardware, but if the foundation isn’t up for the challenge, it won’t matter. That isn’t something you’ll have to deal with in a gaming PC, as the 9800X3D is mounted on an X870 board, which is made to handle flagship processors and promote easy and serious overclocking thanks to the on-board cooling solution, VRMs, and other features.
The 360mm AIO is also a solid addition, as this CPU can be unlocked, meaning that you can enable PBO or tweak individual core frequencies to overclock it, and you can do so without worrying about overheating.
