The ZOTAC MEK is an all-white gaming PC with the latest budget components that make it an attractive offering for anyone operating with a strict spending limit. It has the Ryzen 5 9600X and the RTX 5060, both of which have great value and complement each other very well. This means that you can enjoy high FPS 1080p and 1440p gaming as well as tackle demanding workflows and multitasking operations.

It also boasts WiFi 6E support, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and other hardware that makes sense for a budget prebuilt gaming PC. With an 8% price cut, this package will set you back $1,099.99. This is a reasonable price, as you’ll get your hands on the latest hardware, and the greatest benefit is that you’ll be on the AM5 platform.

What this gaming PC has to offer

RTX 5060 can push through its limits

This graphics card is a great budget offering, and while it might not win the best GPU award anytime soon, it is great for what it is designed for. It handles 1080p and 1440p gaming with grace, and when the going gets tough, DLSS 4.5 and MFG allow it to punch above its weight class and churn out more frames even if you’ve maxed out the graphics. So, for the price, its gaming performance is great, but the 8GB VRAM does limit its productive performance, and it can hit its ceiling quickly in super heavy workflows.

Ryzen 5 9600X has great performance

This processor is the entry-level option from the Ryzen 9000 lineup and comes with 6 cores and 12 threads based on the Zen 5 architecture. So, the generation performance leap is good, but still, we won’t recommend using it for extreme multitasking. Anything besides that, it is a good option, and we have also put it through its paces in our Ryzen 5 9600X review. It did well in all tests, and that was when it was limited to 65W. You can give it a huge performance boost by ramping it up to 105W via BIOS and enhancing the efficiency as well.

16GB DDR5 RAM might seem less, but it isn’t

The standard has become 32GB, and that does make 16GB look underpowered, but when you have a budget build on your hands, you need to look at the complete picture. Besides that, in reality, 16GB DDR5 RAM is more than enough for gaming at 1440p and also drives an efficient, productive output in various tasks like editing, encoding, and more.
