Standout features of this Hisense 75-inch U7 mini-LED TV
Mini-LED display is a cracking alternative to OLED
As a rule of thumb, OLEDs are great for contrast, and mini-LEDs are great for brightness, and this TV’s immense 3000 nits peak brightness is a good example of this. It also features 3000 local dimming zones, allowing it to be super precise and accurate, for nuanced color, contrast, and overall picture quality.

Native 165Hz refresh rate is a cut above most TVs
Even the best OLED TVs sometimes stick to 144Hz instead of 165Hz, so this is a big win for the price that’s going to allow for super smooth on-screen motion, and up to 165fps. Great for watching sports and competitive gaming at high framerates.
Anti-reflection and glare-free for well-lit rooms
While glossy coatings do make colors pop, they pick up loads of reflections and are pretty poor when used in a room with windows or daylight. This TV’s coating allows you to see everything clearly, no matter the angle or time of day.
FreeSync Premium Pro for excellent HDR gaming performance
Switching HDR on in-game can cause a little lag, but this top-tier adaptive sync technology helps to reduce that, allowing for much smoother, tear-free HDR gaming performance.
Who should buy this TV?
Go for this TV if you’re on the hunt for something large, reasonably priced, that’s ideal for well-lit rooms, bright, and pairs well with consoles like the PS5 or high-end 4K-ready gaming PCs. It’s yet another example of Hisense’s excellent price-to-performance ratio offerings, which really give you something with high-end features, but without the huge price tag that’s commonly associated with some of the leaders of the pack in the space.
