This Cooler Master RX 9070 XT gaming PC is small, but mighty, and now $300 off at Newegg
Table of Contents
This small and compact Cooler Master NR2 Pro gaming PC is now down $300 at Newegg, and has been reduced to $2,399.99, making it a great chance to grab something smaller form factor, which usually carries a premium price tag, for closer to regular pricing.
Inside this ingeniously engineered prebuild, you’ve got an RX 9070 XT, which is a powerhouse for 1440p with solid 4K capabilities, too. That’s paired with one of the very best gaming CPUs on the market, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 32GB of high-speed DDR5 RAM, and a large 2TB for all your storage needs.

Why we like this Cooler Master NR2 Pro Mini ITX gaming PC
Super compact and stylish design
This is a mini-ITX PC, and it comes in at around the size of a shoebox, making it ideal if you’re looking for something that can easily sit on your desk without taking up too much room. It’s also super sleek, with a tempered glass or mesh side panel, and would work very well in a more minimalistic-themed setup, too.

Outstanding gaming processor
This build packs one of the very best gaming CPUs on the market, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D, which is specifically designed for high fps gaming with stable, low frame latency performance. Unlike many other CPUs, this one has a massive 96MB L3 cache, and improved thermals over the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, too, and is well suited to the RX 9070 XT’s 1440p and 4K gaming capabilities.
A very strong graphics card for 1440p and 4K gaming
In terms of raw performance, the RX 9070 XT can trade blows with the likes of the RTX 5070 Ti, but it’s often cheaper, making it one of the best GPUs from a pricing perspective. It features 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM and improvements to its ray tracing and AI capabilities, making it a great pick for 1440p and 4K gaming without shelling out for an RTX 5080.
Large 2TB SSD for a hefty gaming library
With some games tipping the scales at 100GB, 2TB is now becoming a much better starting option than 1TB, giving you a load of headroom for a robust gaming library and future releases.
Loads of DDR5 RAM for ultra-smooth gaming
Whether you’re playing fast-paced, competitive titles or exploring dense, asset-heavy open worlds, 32GB of DDR5 is going to help reduce microstutters and improve your overall gaming experience.
Is this gaming PC right for you?
So, generally speaking, smaller PCs carry a premium price tag, which is why this RX 9070 XT model is a little pricier than your typical, larger offerings. Cooler Master PCs are also higher-end, which also adds some weight to their price tag.
Can you get a cheaper, similar spec PC? Yes, you can, so it’s more of a question of how important the sizing and build quality of a prebuild is to you.
This is the type of PC that looks incredible and boasts excellent gaming performance, too, all the while looking like a small, premium workstation, rather than a gaming machine.
I’d say that this type of PC would pair very well in more minimal, premium-looking setups, especially when connected to something like a Samsung Odyssey QD-OLED monitor, many of which have brushed metal finishing similar to this prebuild.
How good is this deal?
In my experience, Cooler Master products tend to be similar to Alienware in the way that they do get discounts, but they’re not often too big. This deal is actually a pretty hefty amount, with this considered, and coming in at under $2,400, it’s not bad at all if you’re already planning on spending a touch more for something higher-end and small profiled.
It is worth noting, though, that at just under $2,500, you can start seeing RTX 5080, Intel Core Ultra 7 265K gaming PC appear, which will have better 4K performance.
This Stormcraft RTX 5080 PC would be my top discounted pick at Newegg, if you’re still shortlisting.
