Zotac is a well-established name, and this gaming PC from the company has very obvious appeal. Not only does it have the style to stick out a mile (in a good way), but the MEK Gaming PC packs some impressive firepower. This RTX 5080 and Ryzen 7 9800X3D system is primed for 4K gaming. Even better, an Amazon deal has sliced the price by $200, from $3,199 down to $2,999.
Why we like this ZOTAC MEK Gaming PC Desktop
The best gaming CPU
Hands-down, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is the best CPU for gaming available today. Its gaming-focused performance outclasses even the legendary Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and it’s overclockable too. And as part of the AMD 9000-Series, its Socket AM5 credentials put it in a good position for future potential upgrades (if another CPU can best it!).
Smooth 4K gaming
Combined with the 9800X3D, the RTX 5080 makes this a formidable gaming system. The RTX 5080 is our best graphics card for gaming, making this pairing our perfect scenario for the two headline components in an enthusiast system. Plus, the RTX 5080 has access to Nvidia’s Blackwell feature set, including DLSS, MFG, and strong performance in local AI models. So it’s ideal for creators, gamers, and enthusiasts seeking smooth 4K frame rates.

Potent full specs list
This ZOTAC MEK Gaming PC looks great, and beyond the CPU and GPU, the specs are equally assuring. This system has 32GB of speedy DDR5 6000 RAM, a 2TB NVMe, an 850W 80 Plus Gold-rated power supply (ensuring reliable power delivery), and a 360mm AIO liquid cooler with three 120mm case fans to ensure airflow. So those headline parts should be kept in good company.
What to consider before you buy
This PC is a large investment, but it will absolutely handle fast 4K gaming in modern titles, and most anything gamers can throw at it. Having said that, if you’re keen on tasks beyond gaming and have exacting standards, the Ryzen 7 9800X3D may not be the ideal processor. While it excels in gaming and single-core performance, multi-core performance is outshone by the Ryzen 9 9900X. Should you need a system to handle streaming, encoding, or rendering as well as gaming, you may get more value out of a PC with that processor.
