BEST RTX 4080 SUPER PREBUILT GAMING PC
01
Panorama RTX 4080 Super gaming PC
Specifications
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X
  • GPU: RTX 4080 Super
  • RAM: 32GB DDR5
  • Storage: 1TB SSD + 3TB HDD
Reasons to Buy
  • Components provide 4K gaming capability and excellent overclocking potential
  • Impressive value compared to purchasing the parts individually
  • Works great right out of the box
Reasons to Avoid
  • Large size of the 4080 Super card means you might need to consider buying a GPU support
  • High power consumption from CPU/GPU combo
  • It comes with a premium price tag

The RTX 4080 Super is an excellent card, only coming behind the RTX 4090, meaning it can be paired with any processor, and as long as it can handle low-resolution gaming, the 4080 Super will handle 4K gaming without a hitch. That said, we recommend the Panorama RTX 4080 Super gaming PC as it pairs this GPU with the Ryzen 9 9950X, which sits at the top of the performance hierarchy of the Ryzen 9000 processors.

That said, it isn’t all about the CPU and GPU in a pre-built PC, as there are other components as well, and this gaming PC has some excellent additions. It features 10 ARGB + PWN fans pre-installed with a maximum RPM of 1800, which should be enough to keep the powerful components inside cool. It also comes with a free RGB keyboard and mouse, meaning you won’t have to spend extra on peripherals, saving you some money.

We’ve tested this GPU in-house for our RTX 4080 Super review, and it performs exceptionally well in gaming and synthetic benchmarks. We Cyberpunk 2077 without enabling DLSS, and it natively delivered 125 FPS in 1440p and 51 FPS at 4K. The graphic settings were turned to ultra, making this result even more impressive. You can also enable DLSS to increase the FPS and make use of Nvidia Reflex to reduce the system latency, giving you a competitive edge.

The RTX 4080 Super effectively erases any reason to go out and buy the original RTX 4080 with slightly increased performance and a much more palatable price point. It delivers across the board in terms of high-end gaming performance in 1440p and 4K while being just as powerful for content creators, too.

PC Guide

On the other hand, we’ve also tested this CPU in-house, as we do with other components such as motherboards, laptops, and more. In our Ryzen 5 9950X review, it had excellent single- and multi-core performance and with Precision Boost Overdrive enabled, it performed even better in synthetic benchmarks. However, to test its gaming performance, we ran Cyberpunk 2077 and Days Gone at 1080p low resolution to make it more CPU-intensive. However, that didn’t matter as this GPU blew through them paired with an RTX 4070 Ti Super and delivered 319 and 279 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 and Days Gone, respectively.

How is low resolution gaming CPU dependant?

Gaming at 1080p or even 720p is CPU dependent because it is easy for the GPU to process that data. So, it works on these low resolution frames quickly and then ask the CPU for more. This is happening billions of times in a second and the CPU has to churn out instruction to keep up with the GPU. If the CPU can’t do that then we experience what is known as a CPU bottleneck as it is holding the GPU back.

With these two components paired together, you can rest easy knowing that you’ll be getting the best in-game results possible. If you have tasks like 3D modeling and rendering at hand, they can also be done quickly. It has a 1TB SSD, 3TB HDD, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5,600 MHz. While that may not be enough for some, for most, 32GB is the sweet spot for gaming and work. However, if you feel like you could do with more performance, you can always add more sticks and give the system a boost in performance and efficiency.

What users say

According to Amazon reviews, this is a gaming beast, and while it may cost a lot of money, it is certainly worth the investment. One reviewer said: “Like a lot of people I don’t have much time in my day to learn the art of pc building but I want to enjoy the benefit of using one as easy as any other console with all the added perks. I purchased the 4080 super model and I don’t regret the money I threw down on this beast. First thing I did was customize this machine with all the things I found on YouTube on how to run this machine for peak performance and I’ve got to say it was pretty much all done already. I’m getting at my highest about 200 fps in Fortnite at epic quality with a 165hz monitor and display port cable and I’m mesmerized at just how buttery smooth the gameplay is.”

If you lean toward Team Blue and want an RTX 4080 Super gaming PC, check out the CyberPowerPC Xtreme VR Liquid Cool Gaming PC. This gaming PC features an Intel Core i9-14900KF, RTX 4080 Super, 4TB SSD, and 64GB DDR5 RAM. What this means is that it is full to the brim with high-end components and should be able to run any modern AAA title in 4K without a hitch.

We’ve reviewed the RTX 4080 Super, and its performance is nothing short of amazing. It was able to churn out 125 and 51 FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 without DLSS enabled, meaning it is capable of running games in native 4K. We also ran Assassin’ Creed Mirage and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and saw 139 and 119 FPS at 1440p and 95 FPS at 4K. These figures can be increased by leveraging DLSS.

As for the CPU, we haven’t reviewed the 14900KF, but it’s a normal variant, the i9-14900K. The difference between the two processors is that the 14900KF doesn’t have an integrated GPU, while the 14900K comes with Intel UHD Graphics 770. However, this shouldn’t be an issue as you’re getting a powerful discrete GPU as part of the package. Besides this, these processors are the same, with the same core count and clock speeds. So, we’ll leverage our 14900K review to showcase the performance of the 14900KF.

Yes, expect better thermal efficiency and slightly better performance across the board. And yes, it’s another impressive CPU from Intel.

PC Guide (14900K review)

The 14900K and 9950X trade blows with each other, with both of them taking home some victories in some benchmark tests. However, at base performance, the 14900K had better results. As for the in-game performance, Cyperpunk 2077 is at 1080p low, and Counter-Strike 2 is at 1080p high resolution. In Cyberpunk 2077, it managed 219 FPS and 336 FPS in CS2. So, low-resolution gaming isn’t an issue for it courtesy of its 2.4 GHz base clock speed and 5.6 GHz boost clock speed.

So, this CPU shouldn’t hold back the GPU and should enable it to perform at its best. If you’re wondering how you know if your GPU isn’t being held back, you can enable the overlay in the Nvidia GeForce panel, which will show you how much the GPU is being utilized. You always want your graphics card at 99% or even 100% utilization.

Overall, this is an excellent pre-built gaming PC. With 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 4TB SSD, you shouldn’t run into storage or low system memory issues.

What users say

Users reviews for the CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme across Amazon specifically comment on how the rig and its components arrive exactly as described. One buyer stated that “it’s exactly like the images, and the specs are exactly what were listed on the page”, and another that “Every spec was as advertised”. So, for transparency, CyberPowerPC gets a big tick.

However, although you can expect an easy setup and gaming straight out of the box, it’s worth noting that one review commented that “The hardest part was removing the tempered glass panel”, so although you might not need to get inside to do any tinkering, be cautious when screwing or unscrewing the case itself.

BEST AMD CPU RTX 4080 SUPER PREBUILT GAMING PC
04
  • Modern CYBERPOWERPC Luxe desktop pc tower with rgb lighting.
Specifications
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
  • GPU: Nvidia RTX 4080
  • RAM: 64GB DDR5 RAM
  • Storage: 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD

If you want an RTX 4080 Super gaming PC but with a processor from Team Red, we recommend the CyberPowerPC gaming PC (SLC8460A2). It features the Ryzen 7 7900X, RTX 4080 Super, 4TB SSD, 64GB DDR5 RAM, and a B650 motherboard. We’ve reviewed the processor and the GPU, and individually, they have excellent performance, but no doubt they’d make an excellent pair whether for gaming or work.

We’ll start with the Ryzen 7 7900X; it features 12 cores, 24 threads, a base clock speed of 4.7 GHz, a boost clock speed of 5.6 GHz, and a 170W TDP. This processor has powerful hardware under the hood, and you should be able to run any game or resource-intensive software without experiencing lag or performance degradation.

While it doesn’t have 3D V-Cache technology as its 7900X3D counterpart does, it still has a 64MB L3 cache, and when we tested for its gaming performance, it was able to handle Cyberpunk 2077 and Days Gone at 1080p low resolution without breaking a sweat. In Cyberpunk 2077, it managed 299 FPS and 276 FPS in Days Gone, this is massively better than the 14900K and close to the results we got from 9950X. So, this should tell you all you need to know about this processor’s gaming performance.

This CPU can work hard, and play hard too. It is just as comfortable gaming as it is in workstation and productivity scenarios, a real jack of all trades, if you will.

PC Guide (Ryzen 9 7900X review)

As for the RTX 4080 Super, it managed to score 17,005 in Fire Strike Ultra. This benchmark tests the ability to render 4K graphics, and this is pretty good considering AMD’s top GPU, the RX 7900 XTX, had a score of 20,410, which is higher, but the 4080 Super isn’t that far behind. In games, this GPU managed to score 51FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K natively, meaning no AI upscaling software was helping the GPU to churn out more FPS. So, you can easily get more than 60 FPS at 4K in a number of titles and then take it to the next level with DLSS.

It also comes with an RGB keyboard and mouse, and while they may not be high-end options, it’s nice to get them part of the package, and you can always upgrade them later on. However, this also means that you just need to unbox the PC, power it up, install some games, and get started.

Regarding connectivity options, there are 7 x USB 3.1, 2 x USB 2.0, and 1 x LAN 1G ports. This means that you can connect various peripherals with this PC and it also supports WiFi 5, which isn’t the fastest standard now but should be enough to stream or work via wireless connection.

Overall, this gaming PC should last you a good couple of years, and if you feel like upgrading, you can swap out the CPU or the GPU. Since this has the 7900X, the motherboard supports the AM5 socket, so you can install an X3D processor or even the new Ryzen 9000 processors.

What users say

According to Amazon reviews, this PC has excellent performance and it is easy to set up. One reviewer said: “Super easy to setup, took no brain power or energy to setup. I’ve been using this computer for over 4 months now and it’s still very powerful and plenty of storage. I am a Multi platform streamer so I needed a fast and intelligent computer, I’m satisfied with this investment.”

How to choose the best RTX 4080 Super pre-built gaming PC

When diving into the world of RTX 4080 Super prebuilt gaming PCs, there are several key features and considerations to keep in mind to ensure you’re getting the best experience, image quality, value, and system that meets your gaming demands. We’ve listed some of the factors that you should consider that will help you make an informed decision.

CPU and GPU compatibility

Firstly, the core component, the RTX 4080 Super, demands a high-end CPU that can keep up with the highest performance graphics, AI power, and best responsiveness. Look for processors from the latest generations, such as Intel’s i9 or AMD’s Ryzen 9 series, to get the most out of your gaming experience.

Cooling solutions

Adequate cooling solutions are non-negotiable. With the power that the RTX 4080 Super brings, ensuring good heat dissipation is paramount. Liquid cooling systems or high-grade air coolers should be part of the package to maintain optimal temperatures and performance.

Power requirements

According to Nvidia, the RTX 4080 Super has a total graphics power of 320W. So, it is important to factor in how much power the CPU is pulling, and that will determine whether the PSU will hold up or not. For example, the 14900K, 9950X, and 7900X have a TDP of 125W/253W, 170W, and 170W, respectively. That means the total power draw of the system with these components would be 445W or 573W for the 14900K/4080 Super combo and 490W for both the Ryzen CPU and 4080 Super PCs.

After this, you need to consider the power draw of other components like the motherboard, PC fans, etc., add them to the mix, and decide which PSU to get. For these PCs, a 750W power supply unit should be fine, as it has enough overhead to accommodate overclocking.

Our Verdict

Our selections cater to a diverse range of preferences and requirements on the quest for the ultimate gaming experience that complements the power of RTX. The ABS Kaze Aqua RTX 4080 Super Gaming PC offers a balanced blend of performance and aesthetics for those seeking a visually striking system with excellent 4K gaming capabilities.

For those who prioritize sheer computational power, the Panorama RTX 4080 Super gaming PC with its Ryzen 9 9950X processor stands unmatched. The other gaming PC shine with their superior 4TB SSDs and 64GB DDR5 RAM, ensuring that there is plenty of memory in the system to go around. That said, the CyberPowerPC gaming PC (SLC8460A2) with the AMD Ryzen 9 7900X offers remarkable value, providing ample storage and memory at an unbeatable price.
