UK customers can now register their interest in Acer’s new Predator Atlas 8 handheld. We’re still three months away from the Predator Atlas 8 release date in October, when it will arrive as the third device powered by Intel’s Arc G3 Extreme chip. The launch also throws the non-extreme G3 into the mix as well – something MSI didn’t do with the Claw 8 EX AI+ last month.

The launch of the OneXPlayer 3 last month was the second handheld to feature the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor, but OneXPlayer also failed to provide a cheaper non-extreme model. In the UK, the cheapest G3-powered Predator Atlas 8 will be priced at £999.99 (hundreds less than the Claw), while the most expensive G3 Extreme model pushes the cost up to £1,499.99.

Acer says those who register their interest through the official UK store will receive “Exclusive launch rewards” and will enjoy “A head start to pre-order before the wider launch”. It’s still not known exactly when pre-orders will go live, but we at least have official UK (GBP) pricing for the four models available this October.

Acer is also keen to highlight the 80Whr battery in the Extreme models, while the standard G3 variants are fitted with a 60Whr battery. All units will also ship with a Corning Gorilla Glass screen protector and 2 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for free. The Atlas 8 features Tunnel Magnetoresistance (TMR) thumbsticks and a 120Hz VRR display across the board.
