You can finally pre-order MSI’s latest gaming handheld in the United Kingdom. The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ was technically released on June 23, with pre-orders available in the United States as early as June 15. In any case, that’s all in the past, and UK customers can now get their hands on the Intel Arc G3 Extreme-powered device at one popular retailer – Scan.

It’s also on Amazon, but from an unofficial brand. In a PR email, MSI tells us “more retailers expected to open pre-orders soon” – so we’re keeping an eye on alternative stores. Another great thing about the UK launch is that MSI is actually selling its ‘Launch Pack’ in the region. This includes the handheld itself, alongside accessories such as a travel case, screen protector, and more.

While the EX model retains much of the same design as the Claw 8 AI+ that came before it, the big addition is the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor. The new MSI Claw arrives as the very first G3-powered handheld on the market. Other G3 devices releasing this year include the OneXPlayer 3 and the Acer Predator Atlas 8. MSI has published several in-house benchmarks (see below).

We previously learned that the Launch Pack is not being sold in the United States, despite briefly appearing on the official MSI store before quietly being removed. Luckily, UK customers can pick up the Launch Pack from Scan for £1,448.98, which is only £49.99 more expensive than the handheld on its own. It contains the following accessories:
