Another OLED gaming monitor was launched today, June 10. Alienware has just released a 27-inch QD-OLED display (the AW2725D) featuring a max 280Hz refresh rate; it’s a follow-up to the AW2725DF that launched in early 2024. There’s also a new esports-friendly monitor out today for those of you happy to stick to 1080p. BenQ says it’s still a “sweet spot” for esports and competitive gamers, after all.

Alienware has enjoyed a bunch of success with its range of OLED displays, with options like the Alienware AW3423DWF being a mainstay in our best OLED monitor and best gaming monitor guides. Newer options such as the AW3225QF and AW2725DF have also been a popular choice among gamers, so we’re always excited to see the Dell sub-brand coming through with more monitors.
