DLSS 5 officially extends to three more games this month, including Hogwarts Legacy in just a couple of days

It has been two months to day since Nvidia released DLSS 5 (officially) with support for NBA 2K27 on September 3, and the number of compatible games continues to grow this week. Hogwarts Legacy, War Thunder, and Where Winds Meet will receive DLSS 5 in November. Two out of the three were already on the original DLSS 5 games list, but War Thunder comes as a surprise addition.
Now announced for November 5, Nvidia had already teased Hogwarts Legacy support in October, though that particular update was mostly about boasting about how much better the performance of DLSS 5 has gotten since its inception. Performance has doubled compared to launch day, and there’s been a 10x performance increase since the tech was first revealed in March at Nvidia GTC.
DLSS 5 supported games in November 2026
With 3D-Guide Neural Rendering coming to Hogwarts Legacy (also available on GeForce Now for Ultimate members), the blockbuster title receives Nvidia’s “complete suite of DLSS technologies”. Based on Nvidia’s internal benchmarks, an RTX 5090 runs the game at up to 300 FPS at 4K ray-traced with DLSS 5, DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, 6X Multi Frame Generation, and Nvidia Reflex enabled.

“Additionally, there are new DLSS Super Resolution and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation games and updates coming soon and available now, including GRAVHOUNDS, Hunting Simulator 3, and Call of Dutyโ: Modern Warfareโ 4 Season 1.”
You can read more about the newly added games in Nvidia’s official blog post. So far, the technology is only officially supported on GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, along with RTX Spark chipsets, the latter currently available in select laptops. Nvidia will be enabling official RTX 40 Series support at a later date, supposedly later this fall, but it’s not mentioned in today’s update.
It’s worth pointing out that gamers managed to get their hands on DLSS 5 just ahead of its official release via a leak, and modders were quick to enable it in a wide variety of games on various GPUs, though results will vary. Nvidia also decided last week to make DLSS 5 modding easier with the RTX Remix 1.6 update, showcasing the tech in titles such as Fallout 4 and Mirror’s Edge.
