AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary Edition is back on Newegg for MSRP with a free AIO cooler worth $70

AMD brought back the Ryzen 7 5800X3D last month as a special 10th Anniversary Edition of the processor. The original chip launched in 2022 before being discontinued in late 2024, but AMD later confirmed that it had done “significant engineering work” to make production possible again. The ’10th anniversary’ refers to the release of the AM4 platform back in 2016.
The anniversary edition model was released on June 25 with a launch price of $349, but it quickly sold out. As stock disappeared, third-party sellers on sites like eBay were scalping the CPU, with many asking over $600 for it. But now, after a few weeks of limited availability, the processor is finally back in stock on Newegg, and buyers are getting an extra bonus.
5800X3D with a free CPU cooler for a great price
Newegg is currently selling the Ryzen 7 5800X3D 10th Anniversary Edition for $349, which matches AMD’s official MSRP. On top of that, the retailer is including an MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240mm AIO CPU cooler at no extra cost. The cooler normally sells for $69.99, making this a solid bundle for anyone planning to build or upgrade an AM4 gaming PC.

The processor itself offers the same specifications as the original Ryzen 7 5800X3D. It comes with 8 cores, 16 threads, and 96MB of L3 cache thanks to AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology. It has a 3.4 GHz base clock and can boost up to 4.5 GHz, making it a strong choice for gaming and other demanding workloads.
Even though newer AM5 processors are available, the 5800X3D remains one of the best upgrades for users who already own an AM4 motherboard and want better gaming performance without replacing their entire platform. We haven’t reviewed the 10th anniversary edition specifically, but you can see our 5800X3D review here for more details and benchmarks.
The included MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240mm AIO features a 240mm radiator paired with dual 120mm ARGB PWM fans. It supports AM4, AM5, LGA 1700, and LGA 1851 sockets, making it compatible with both current AMD and Intel platforms. The fans use Rifle bearings, which help reduce noise while improving durability over long periods of use. Users can also customize the RGB lighting through MSI Center to match the rest of their PC setup.
