Early listings from a UK retailer suggest AMD is gearing up to launch the Ryzen 5 7500X3D. Ryzen X3D technology has been a massive boon for AMD, particularly in the PC gaming sector. We’ve seen X3D processors regularly topping CPU sales charts for generations now, with the most popular picks as of late being the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Ryzen 7 7800X3D.

There are, however, cheaper options out there from the Ryzen 5 range, most notably the 7600X3D, which was initially limited to select retailers in the US and Germany (Micro Center and Mindfactory, respectively). The leaked 7500X3D will set an even lower point of entry for X3D gaming on the latest AM5 platform.

Well-known hardware leaker momomo_us on X also posted about the new SKU, with the unique product code ‘100-000001904’ – this is for the tray CPU, rather than the boxed version for typical consumers. As you’d probably expect at this stage, the early listings do not reveal any specifications, pricing, or release date details. However, now that getting pretty close to the end of the year, we could speculate that the 7500X3D could be revealed at CES 2026 early in January.

On top of that, we can safely assume the Ryzen 5 chip comes with a 6-core/12-thread design, just like all processors within this tier for the past few generations. The 7500X3D could feature the same 96MB of L3 Cache as the 7600X3D, as well as its 65W TDP, though it is likely to feature a lower clock speed (the 7600X3D has a max clock of 4.7GHz).

This news comes shortly after rumors of more high-end X3D chips. These include the 9850X3D – an even faster version of the popular 7000 series CPU, and a new flagship model, the 9950X3D2, which is said to boast a dual 3D V-Cache design. As for the 7500X3D, it could be the final Zen 4 X3D processor to hit the market.
