Apple will be dominating the internet once again with a new event, Apple Unleashed, dropping October 18th at 10AM PDT on its website and YouTube Channel.

Apple Unleashed – What Can We Expect?

M1X-Powered MacBooks

M1X-powered MacBooks have been thrown around the rumor mill since last year, but with Apple already taking care of its iPhone and iPad game this year, all eyes are set on new MacBooks. The next generation of Apple’s SoC (System on a chip) M1 chip, the M1X promises bigger and better performance than ever, which is probably why Apple has gone for lightspeed and unleashed themes for this event.

We’re possibly looking at slimmer bezels, mini-LED displays (similar to the display bar perhaps?), More Thunderbolt ports, HDMI port, SD Card Reader, and MagSafe. We’re not sure which models will be getting an upgrade this year, but MacBook Pro and MacBook Air seem like safe bets.

AirPods 3

Originally rumored to be part of the iPhone 13 reveal event, AirPods 3 rumors have been in our faces for some time now. Apparently ditching the hard plastic one size fits all casing to silicone ear cushions, the AirPods 3 are set to shorten the stem of the previous generation.

M1X-Powered Macs

The Mac Mini and Mac Pro may also be on the slate to receive M1X-powered models, although we’re a bit light on information right now

iOS 15.1 Public Release

We’re stretching here, but the recent iOS 15.0.2 public update fixed quite a lot, and we’re still waiting on iOS 15.1 Beta 4. This would be a great platform to make a big deal of SharePlay returning and how quickly Apple has reacted to feedback and security threats.
