The next generation of Beats Solo headphones is reportedly already being worked on, with images of the upcoming Solo 4 series having been uncovered through a recent leak. Now, this doesn’t exactly come as a surprise since the dated but reliable Solo 3 series had initially been launched back in 2016. However, those who have been looking for an on-brand upgrade will finally have something to look forward to in the coming months.

Based on a Macrumors article, this information had apparently been “located in the iOS 17.4 release candidate that Apple put out today.” In it, the upcoming headphone’s look was allegedly revealed, with the design set to mimic certain aspects of Beats’ high-end Studio Pro series. In addition, Beats Solo 4 will reportedly support Spatial Audio for a more immersive listening experience, according to the leaked code. Unfortunately, no other features have been revealed as of writing. However, like with any rumor, you’ll need to take this information with a generous helping of salt until it’s actually confirmed.

Alleged Beats Solo 4 headphone colorways

The same report alleges that the Beats Solo 4 series will be available in three colorways: black, pink, and blue. It’s currently unclear whether there will be more to choose from upon release. However, if the Solo3 is anything to go by, you can likely expect more design alternatives to be revealed in the future.

Unfortunately, these leaks haven’t revealed the Beats Solo 4 release date, so you’ll have to remain patient before you can start pre-ordering them. That said, we will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as soon as more details have come to light.
