Control Resonant is the latest game that comes free with Nvidia GPUs, new bundle valid for RTX 5070 and up

Control Resonant is launching next month, and the excitement around Remedy’s upcoming action RPG is already building. And now, there’s another reason for PC gamers to look forward to it, as Nvidia is giving away a copy of the game with select GeForce RTX 50-series GPUs, desktops, and laptops.
The new promotion is particularly interesting for anyone who has been planning a GPU upgrade. Nvidia is offering a free Steam copy of Control Resonant with qualifying RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 desktop graphics cards and systems. The same applies to laptops equipped with RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, or 5070 Laptop GPUs. The offer is available at participating retailers and system builders, while supplies last.
The promotion runs from August 25 through September 29, 2026, so buyers have until the end of September to purchase an eligible product. The free game code must then be redeemed through the Nvidia App by October 27.

Redeeming the game is also fairly simple. After purchasing an eligible product, you’ll receive a promotional code. You then need to install the qualifying GPU, open the Nvidia App, sign in, and head to the Redeem section. From there, enter the code and connect your Steam account to add Control Resonant to your library.
As for what the game offers, Control Resonant is a sequel to Remedy’s award-winning Control, taking players into a ravaged version of Manhattan where a supernatural crisis has spread beyond the Federal Bureau of Control’s headquarters. You play as Dylan Faden, who emerges from years of confinement and gains powerful abilities while trying to survive the forces reshaping reality.
The game combines exploration, supernatural powers, and fast combat. Dylan can develop his abilities through a deeper progression system, while his transforming Aberrant weapon can switch between different forms, including a heavy hammer and dual blades. Players will explore different areas of Manhattan, encounter strange characters and enemies, and search for clues about what happened to Dylan’s sister, Jesse Faden. The game also introduces new threats involving the Hiss, Mold, and other paranormal forces.
