Update 2.5 also introduces a completely new way to fight. The Double Trouble perk lets players dual-wield Power-category Pistols and Revolvers, with four additional perks available to support the new playstyle. Cyberware customization is another major addition, with five new Glamdocs allowing players to change the appearance and colors of Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Monowire, and the Projectile Launch System.
There is more to explore around Night City as well. The new Welcome to Paradise side quest takes players on a guided tour narrated by Richard Night and becomes available after completing The Heist and reaching Street Cred level 15. Twelve new Minor Arcana Tarot Cards have also been scattered around Night City, expanding the Fool on the Hill quest and offering a special reward for finding them all.
Another significant addition is cross-platform mod support through mod.io. Players on PC, Mac, PS5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S will be able to browse and install supported community-created mods directly through the game.
Several quality-of-life and technology improvements are included as well. Console players are finally getting an FOV slider, saves are now grouped by individual playthroughs, and apartment and vehicle stashes have new item filters. PC support also expands with DLSS 4.5, including up to 6X Multi Frame Generation and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, while HDR rendering and ray-tracing performance have also received improvements.
That said, these are only some of the major additions, improvements, and fixes included in Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5. For the full list of what’s coming, you can check out the official patch notes.
