According to a report from VideoCardz, reviews for the RX 9070 series will be going live on March 5th. This follows a presentation about the new RX 9000 series GPUs, which AMD has already officially announced for February 28th.

• February 28: AMD will share details about its new RDNA 4 architecture. This could include the specifications of the RX 9070 series, which will help us understand how powerful these cards might be.
• March 5: The embargo on reviews for the RX 9070 series could lift. This means tech reviewers will be finally able to publish their reviews and performance tests of the new cards.

It is important to keep in mind that March 5 is also the day Nvidia will launch its RTX 5070. With both companies competing for attention on the same day, things could get interesting. Recent leaks suggest that the RX 9070 XT performs as well as the RTX 4080, or maybe even better. While the leaked scores put it behind the RTX 5080, it still performed better than the 4070 Ti Super, making it a direct competitor of the 5070 Ti.
