It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. Despite the smartphone being a flagship release for the brand, we only know about it through rumors. But, some of the most promising leaks have come out for the Galaxy S24 FE, as manufacturing for the phone has gone into mass production.

The rumor comes from The Elec, who reports that Samsung could be releasing the phone this summer. This is backed up by the same report saying that mass production of the display driver chips for the smartphone has begun. A summer release would be earlier than the October release that the Galaxy S23 FE received, being only a few months away. If these leaks are to be believed, then we could have the Fan Edition of the S24 in our hands soon.

Sadly, other than this news about a supposed upcoming release, information about the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is scarce. Other than a few rumors floating around on Twitter, there isn’t much to go on. Some hearsay from OreXda on Twitter says that the Galaxy S24 SE will feature the Exynos 2400 and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in its processor, but there’s nothing official. Other than this, it’s been near radio silence.

Hearing any news about the Galaxy S24 FE is a relief. For a while, many weren’t even sure if Samsung was continuing the FE line. Hearing the news that mass production has begun is a great sign, even if it is still just a rumor.

Until more news is released, fans will just have to sit tight and wait for more. If the smartphone is coming this summer, then we’re likely to hear more about it before then.
