Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is Samsung’s thinnest Galaxy Fold phone ever, with Flex Titanium display technology
Samsung launched three smartphones during Galaxy Unpacked today. Along with the new Galaxy Z Flip 8, there are two new Fold 8 phones to take a look at – the base Fold 8 model and the flagship Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. In its official press release, the Ultra is advertised as “Samsung’s most advanced foldable design” to date, as well as its slimmest – just 4.1mm thick unfolded.
The new Fold 8 Ultra features a large 8-inch main display, which makes it an ideal device for multitasking and as a workspace on the go. Despite its size, it also only weighs 215 grams, with plenty of power packed in. Pre-orders for the Ultra, alongside the two other phones, have already gone live – just as Samsung kicked off the Galaxy Packed presentation.
Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra specs and features explained
Under the hood, the Fold 8 Ultra is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with up to 1TB of storage (512GB and 256GB models are also available) and up to 16GB of RAM. It also addresses one of the biggest criticisms of previous Fold models with a larger 5,000mAh battery and faster 45W charging – it’s now available to pre-order from the Samsung store and Amazon.

The technology was officially revealed last week, ahead of Galaxy Unpacked.
