Apple has officially announced iPhone 17e pre orders, along with everything else worth knowing – like the release date, specs, and price. So, when is it actually available to purchase, and where can you find the iPhone 17e? Well, we’ve put together a guide to the best retailers in the US, UK, and Canada likely to stock the new budget smartphone.

As you may already suspect, the official Apple store is one of the best places to start your search, but it probably won’t be the only retailer stocking the phone. Apple launched the iPhone 17e on March 2, just two days ahead of its in-person event; the launch is part of a wider series of Apple hardware launches, including the new iPad Air M4 and new MacBooks.

How much does the iPhone 17e cost?

At $599, the starting price for the iPhone 17e is actually the same as its predecessor, the 16e. However, last year’s model started with just 128GB of storage, so Apple has doubled the base model’s storage without upping the price. The 17e is the cheapest smartphone in the entire iPhone 17 series so far and is a solid $200 cheaper than the ‘standard’ iPhone 17, and a massive $400 cheaper than the slimline iPhone Air.

  • iPhone 17e 256GB: from $599 (USD) / £599 (GBP) / $1,199 (CAD)
  • iPhone 17e 512GB: from $799 (USD) / £799 (GBP) / $899 (CAD)

Which regions is the iPhone 17e available in?

Apple says that the iPhone 17e will be available “in more than 70 countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, South Korea, Türkiye, the UAE, the UK, and the U.S.” Pre-orders will kick off at the same time globally, so be sure to reference our release time & countdown clock up above to figure out when that is in your region, local time.

In addition to the widespread launch, Apple has also noted all the languages in which Apple Intelligence is available in beta: English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Vietnamese, Chinese (simplified), Chinese (traditional), Japanese, and Korean.
