Steam has been the most popular platform for PC gaming for over a decade and continues to offer a large library of games. Labeled “A great horror roguelike” and the “Indie horror game of the year” by PC Gamer and DreadXP respectively, Golden Light is a single-player experience with procedural levels and roguelike mechanics. It’s described by its developer, Mr. Pink, as a “dark comedy horror game with roguelike elements and an eerie atmosphere” and it enjoys a ‘Very Positive‘ rating on Steam across all reviews.

We think it’s well worth picking up for a free while you can. The lightweight system requirements mean it should have no problems running on the Steam Deck, while only asking for 2GB of disk space.
