Apple has launched a plethora of hardware this week, leaving its new MacBook Neo as the final product to be unveiled, on March 4. The Neo arrived during Apple’s invite-only “special experience” event, which took place in three locations around the world (New York, London, and Shanghai). Pre-orders are immediately live, so no time to wait if you’re looking to buy one.

We’ve compiled a list of the best places to buy the MacBook Neo, described by Apple as its “most affordable laptop ever”. The Neo is available from just $599 and is available in 256GB and 512GB storage sizes; both models feature the Apple A18 Pro chip and come in four colorways. Apple also launched the iPhone 17e this week as another more budget-friendly option.

How much does the MacBook Neo cost?

Unlike the new MacBook Air or MacBook Pros with M5 Pro and M5 Max, the MacBook Neo pricing is a lot more straightforward. That’s because it’s only available in one size (13-inch) and one chip, the A18 Pro. The main difference in price stems from the choice of storage, whether it be 256GB or 512GB.

  • MacBook Neo 13-inch (256GB) – from $599 USD / £599 GBP / $799 CAD
  • MacBook Neo 13-inch (512GB) – from $699 USD / £699 GBP / $999 CAD

Which regions is the MacBook Neo available in?

Apple says in its official blog post that the MacBook Neo is available to pre-order at the online Apple Store and Apple Store app “in 30 countries and regions”. This, of course, includes the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada, as featured within this guide. Full availability will be made available on March 11, which is when customers will be able to find the new affordable laptop at more authorized resellers, and in-person at Apple Store locations.
