So far, we have been given a glimpse of what the AI features would look like in iPhones with iOS 18.1 public beta. As far as MacBooks are concerned, the macOS 15.1 public beta has arrived, and it has brought some AI features with it.
macOS 15.1 public beta is now available
After releasing macOS 15 earlier this week, Apple is now offering the macOS 15.1 public beta, so Mac owners can try AI features ahead of the launch next month.
Here’s what the public beta includes:
- Natural language search in photos
- Summaries and priority messages in Apple Mail
- New Siri with ‘Type to Siri’ capabilities
- AI writing tools
- Safari webpage summaries
Of course, these are not the only features available in the next update. Some of the features will be available in the next phase, like Genmojis and Generative Playground.
Mac users who are interested in getting an early glimpse of Apple’s AI features can enroll in the macOS 15.1 public beta. All you need to do is get the update, head over to System Settings, and join the Apple Intelligence waitlist.
In case you missed it, Apple recently hosted the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event, where the company rolled out major products like the iPhone 16 series, a new Apple Watch, and also new AirPods. It is being speculated that Apple will host yet another event in October to unveil new MacBooks, redesigned Mac Minis, and an iPad.
