MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ with Intel Arc G3 Extreme likely to launch soon with a special bundle, leak suggests

We’re still waiting for the latest Intel-powered gaming handhelds to hit the market, but they seem to be just around the corner. New Arc G3 and G3 Extreme models are expected to debut at Computex in early June, and a retailer slip-up late last month revealed an unannounced MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ on the way. Now, a special Launch Pack bundle is being prepared.
Team Blue ramped up its plans to challenge AMD’s dominance of handheld chipsets during CES 2026 in January. Intel launched the Panther Lake (Core Ultra Series 3) platform, expecting it to power “more than 200 designs” – including multiple handhelds to support an “entire handheld gaming platform” with the series.
MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ looks to be getting a special ‘Launch Pack’
According to a listing on a Polish B2B retailer, the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ is being prepared with a Launch Pack that mimics previous MSI Claw products. MSI already ships a Super Pack for the Claw 8 AI+, which includes the handheld, a travel case, tempered glass screen protector, lanyard, docking station, and 100W power adapter.

The leaked information on BuyIT fails to reveal exactly what is inside the Launch Pack, but we may speculate that it is a similar bundle to the Super Pack that MSI already delivers with its existing Claw 8 model, or perhaps something a little less all-inclusive, since it’s no longer ‘Super’.
In any case, the early listing for the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+, which was on the Italian retailer Ollo (it has since been removed), revealed specs such as a 500-nit IPS-level 8-inch 1080p screen, 120Hz refresh rate, and the Intel Arc G3 Extreme processor. Other specs included 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, and 80Whr battery capacity, most of which mimics the existing 8 AI+ model.
The MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ was being listed for a massive €1599, which is €300 more than the MSI Claw 8 AI+ at the same store. The new Panther Lake-powered model is yet to be officially announced; it seems likely to be launched during Computex.
