Newegg exclusive launch offer for Ryzen 7 7700X3D knocks $49 off the MSRP for a limited time
AMD recently relaunched the Ryzen 7 5800X3D as a 10th Anniversary Edition with a retail price of $349. And now, the company has introduced another X3D processor, the Ryzen 7 7700X3D. It’s essentially a downclocked version of the Ryzen 7 7800X3D and has a cheaper price tag, providing fans with a new AM5 chip to consider when shopping around for a new CPU.
The CPU launched with an MSRP of $329. But if you’re interested in getting it for your rig, Newegg currently has an offer that lets you grab it for an even better price. In fact, if you’re looking for where to buy the 7700X3D in North America, you should probably know that Newegg has exclusive rights to sell the new chip, at least until later this year.

The offer is only available for a limited time, though. While Newegg hasn’t revealed exactly when it will end, we recommend acting fast, as deals like this don’t usually last long. Plus, the exclusivity on Newegg is only funneling customers and generating more demand for the retailer.
As for the processor, it comes with 8 cores and 16 threads, paired with a 96 MB L3 cache. On top of that, while it operates at a base clock of 4 GHz, it can be boosted up to 4.5 GHz for better performance. For comparison, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D offers the same number of cores and threads but features a higher boost clock of 5 GHz. Aside from that, both processors are identical.
That said, the Ryzen 7 7800X3D is also currently available with a 22% discount on Amazon, bringing its price down to $348.99. It’s the better option for those looking for higher clock speeds. However, if you’re on a budget and want to stay under $300, the 7700X3D is also a solid choice, as it offers almost the same specifications as the 7800X3D.
