While Newegg occasionally offers discounts on individual PC components, they also have bundles that can help you save a decent amount of cash on two or more parts. Right now, they’re offering a 2-in-1 bundle, through which you can get your hands on two key components – a processor and graphics card both from Intel.
Newegg 2-in-1 12900KF bundle
What does the Newegg 2-in-1 12900KF bundle offer?
This bundle offers a high-end 12900KF CPU with the more budget-friendly Intel Arc A770 GPU. We think it will be a great pick for someone who values fast productivity workflows while enjoying some gaming on the side. The A770 is indeed Intel’s flagship desktop dGPU from the Arc series, but it’s still best suited for 1080p or 1440p gaming – not 4K.
CPU: Intel Core i9-12900KF
First, we have the Intel Core i9-12900KF. This is a part of the 12th-gen lineup from Intel and packs 16 cores in total. These are divided into 8 Performance and 8 Efficient cores. The Efficient cores are mainly used for light tasks, such as internet browsing and creating documents. On the other hand, Performance cores are used for demanding tasks such as gaming and video editing.

Aside from that, the Intel Core i9-12900KF has 24 threads and a base clock speed of 2.40 GHz. However, when required, the speed can go up to 5.20 GHz. This mostly happens in tasks where plenty of processing power is needed. The CPU also has a TDP of 125W, so it can get hot during extended gaming and productivity sessions. To help keep the temps low, we recommend pairing it with one of the best AIO coolers.
GPU: Intel Arc A770
For the GPU, Newegg has decided to throw in the Intel Arc A770. This is a budget graphics card in the Intel Arc A-Series and can run most games smoothly at 1080p.
For starters, it has 16GB GDDR6 VRAM and a 256-bit memory interface. This much VRAM should be more than enough for most games at 1080p, so you shouldn’t run into any memory issues. Aside from that, it has a base clock speed of 2,100 MHz, but when more graphics power is required, it can go up to 2,400 MHz.
We reviewed the Intel Arc A770 and found it to be a solid card for 1080p gaming. It even delivered decent results at 1440p. We decided to test it in Cyberpunk 2077, which is one of the most demanding games out there. At 1080p, we were constantly getting around 77 FPS. Even at 1440p, the GPU was able to deliver playable FPS, at 54. With Ray Tracing, however, the FPS dropped to 31 at 1080p and 20 at 1440p.
When compared to the RTX 4060 Ti, the A770 delivers slightly less FPS. However, do keep in mind that the 4060 Ti costs a bit more, so you’re getting good value for money with the A770. Intel is still making its way in the world of discrete GPUs, so the A770 is the current-best until we make it to the Battlemage release date.
How much will you save?
The whole purpose of the bundle is to help you get a collective discount on two key components. If you buy them individually, you’d have to spend around $602. But thanks to Newegg’s offer, you can save $40 and get them for only $562. The money you save can be invested in one of the best power supplies for gaming or one of the best airflow PC cases.
