Back at CES 2025, at the beginning of this year, Nvidia launched its new RTX 50 series GPUs. Four models were announced, and these have all passed their respective launch dates, in order of release: RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, and 5070. As you will notice, Team Green didn’t mention any xx60 series cards (these have long been the most popular tier), but it looks like they will soon be revealed.

Despite no official word, there has been plenty of speculation and leaks regarding the RTX 5060 & RTX 5060 Ti release date along with specs, pricing, and so on. Most recently, we learned that the Ti model could again come with 8GB and 16GB models, with the higher VRAM variant releasing first.

RTX 5060 series releasing in “about 10 days” says leaker

According to a recent post from Zed__Wang on X, a regular in the world of hardware leaks (specifically GPUs), the “RTX 5060 family” could be unveiled in just over a week. This lies within the March release window we’ve been expecting for a while now, though recent rumors place only the Ti variant within this time frame – the non-Ti could be pushed back to April due to “performance issues” reported late last month.

While the RTX 5060 may very well be unveiled by Nvidia soon, that doesn’t mean they’ll be available to buy right away. As Zed__Wang says, they’ll be “on the shelf a month later,” meaning we have plenty of time to wait. Every single RTX 50 series GPU launch has been hindered by limited stock, including the most recent RTX 5070. Founders Edition and AIB cards sold out instantly as a result of limited supply, so we wouldn’t mind waiting a little longer than expected if that means the 5060 series fares any better – especially since this tier of graphics cards is widely popular.

Another problem with the 50 series so far has been the missing ROPs issue, which has affected RTX 5070 Ti and up SKUs with worse-than-advertised performance. Nvidia has already confirmed that the RTX 5070 (non-Ti) is not affected by this issue, so we don’t expect any problems with the RTX 5060 series either.
