The RTX 50 series was launched this year, but the cards have been pretty difficult to get at their recommended prices. Initially, there were low-stock issues, and later on, there were price hikes, especially from scalpers. This made it difficult for users to upgrade to a new card, but things have started to change. This is because, at the moment, you can get the RTX 5080 for its £949 MSRP at a popular retailer in the UK.

RTX 5080 is currently listed at MSRP on Overclockers UK

The RTX 5080 is a high-end option in the RTX 50-series lineup, offering specifications that make it a solid card for 4K gaming and other demanding tasks. And if you head over to Overclockers UK, you’ll find the Gainward GeForce RTX 5080 Phoenix V1 16GB listed for £949.99, which is the official MSRP of the card. The Gainward model was previously available for £999.95, but an ongoing deal has knocked just under £50 off it.

The best part is that there are several other models listed at prices close to the MSRP. So if you’re not a fan of Gainward, you can check out the other models, which we’ve listed below. Some of these models are also available at SCAN.

We don’t know how long these prices will last, so it will be wise to grab a card as soon as you can. It’s great to see that the prices have finally stabilized in UK, at least for some third-party models. This will definitely make things easier for those who were eager to upgrade to a high-end card from the RTX 50-series.

We also recently saw the RTX 5060 Ti, RTX 5070, RTX 5070 Ti, and even the flagship model of the current series, the RTX 5090, drop below MSRP at different retailers. Over in the United States, however, prices for the higher-end models remain pretty far out from Nvidia’s recommended prices – the 5080, for example, will generally set you back at least $1,499.
