Popular monitor brand Philips has highlighted its range of gaming monitors designed to suit console and PC gaming setups alike, with options spanning 4K QD-OLED picture quality, compact QHD displays, and flexible Dual Mode compatibility. Its gaming-focused Evnia brand offers much to choose from, often featuring its signature Ambiglow (and more recently, AmbiScape) technology.

Philips has been busy launching a ton of models this year, including a 5th Gen QD-OLED in September, and even more recently, there was an announcement for two new affordable curved QHD monitors on the way in November. Today, the company is highlighting several Evnia models that work well whether you’re gaming on PC, console, or both in the same place.

✓ Philips’ versatility on show
  • The 32M2N8900P offers a 31.5-inch 4K QD-OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate, while the 27M2N6501L provides a more compact 26.5-inch QHD QD-OLED option.
  • Selected models support HDMI 2.1 and up to 120Hz gaming on compatible consoles.
  • The 27M2N5901A and 27M2N3800A feature Dual Mode, switching between 4K at up to 160Hz and Full HD at up to 320Hz for different gaming needs.
  • AI-enhanced Ambiglow on selected models matches rear lighting to on-screen content, while USB-C power delivery and a built-in KVM on the 27M2N5901A offer added setup flexibility.

Press release in full

Amsterdam, 27 October 2026 – Philips Evnia offers gaming monitors for different ways to play, with a choice between detailed QD-OLED visuals and flexible Dual Mode performance. For console gaming, selected models combine HDMI 2.1 connectivity, support for up to 120 Hz on compatible hardware, and features designed to make more of the gaming setup.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Philips Evnia offers different options for players who prioritise picture quality, screen size, or greater flexibility across devices.

“Players build their gaming setups in different ways. Some prioritise picture quality, others want a more compact screen, while many move between console and PC. Philips Evnia gives players more freedom to choose the experience that fits the way they play.”

Cesar Acosta, Regional Senior Product Manager at MMD Monitors & Displays

More from the screen

For players who prioritise 4K picture quality, the Philips Evnia 32M2N8900P combines a 31.5-inch 4K UHD QD-OLED panel with a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz. It also offers 0.03 ms GtG response time, HDMI 2.1, and DisplayHDR True Black 500.

The Philips Evnia 27M2N6501L brings QD-OLED contrast, colour, and rapid response to a more compact 26.5-inch QHD screen. Compatible console hardware can run at QHD up to 120 Hz, while the monitor reaches up to 240 Hz for PC use.

More flexibility from one display

Two further models add Dual Mode for players who want different performance options from the same monitor.

The Philips Evnia 27M2N5901A with its Fast IPS panel offers 4K UHD at up to 160 Hz or Full HD at up to 320 Hz. Compatible console hardware can use 4K at up to 120 Hz, while the Full HD 320 Hz mode provides a higher-refresh option for PC gaming. USB-C with up to 65 W Power Delivery and a built-in KVM add further flexibility to a multi-device setup.

The Philips Evnia 27M2N3800A follows the same Dual Mode approach, offering 4K UHD at up to 160 Hz or Full HD at up to 320 Hz with its Fast IPS panel. Players using compatible consoles can game at 4K up to 120 Hz, while the higher-refresh Full HD mode is available for PC use. Dual Mode suits setups where one display is used for different games and devices.

Taking console gaming beyond the screen

The Philips Evnia 32M2N8900P, 27M2N6501L, and 27M2N5901A also feature AI-enhanced Ambiglow, adding another layer to the console gaming experience.

AI-enhanced Ambiglow reacts to the content on screen and projects matching light from behind the monitor. On models with AI-enhanced Ambiglow, the technology analyses the image and adapts the colour and brightness of the lighting in real time.

Instead of keeping the experience within the edges of the screen, AI-enhanced Ambiglow connects what is happening in the game with the space around the monitor, making lighting part of the wider setup.

Whether players choose premium 4K QD-OLED, compact QHD QD-OLED, or Dual Mode flexibility, with AI-enhanced Ambiglow available on selected models, Philips Evnia gives console players more ways to experience their gaming worlds.
