AMD’s latest RDNA 4-based RX 9070 GPUs had a pretty successful launch, however, it didn't last long before even the Red Team ran out of stock due to “phenomenal demand.” Luckily, AMD was quick to share that they are ramping supply of NAVI 48 very, very aggressively and gamers should expect to see supply continue to improve throughout the “current quarter, the next quarter and further into the year.” And with stock issues being slowed down, it seems pricing for these GPUs is starting to normalize as well, at least that seems to be the case in Switzerland.

Over on Twitter/X, user TechEpiphany shared pricing history for the two SKUs, and according to the chart, the RX 9070 is now available for 629 CHF (Swiss Franc), down from over 1,000 CHF in early March, showing a consistent drop over the past month, while the RX 9070 XT has also come down to 740 CHF after a few spikes in late March, marking a more stable pricing trend into mid-April.

Still far from its MSRP

We're not entirely sure if this trend of “pricing normalizing” is being seen globally, but based on the data shared on Twitter, it doesn’t seem to be the case right now. However, if we were to convert these price drops into US dollars for a clearer estimate, the RX 9070 would be priced at over $700, while the 9070 XT would exceed $900. This suggests that while pricing has dropped, it's still far from the original MSRP.

On the bright side, things seem to be settling down, and while we expect prices to stabilize in the coming months, the impact of the ongoing tariff situation on these GPUs remains uncertain. On top of that, with the upcoming RTX 5060 Ti SKUs reportedly launching at $100 above the original MSRP, it looks like mid-range gamers and anyone considering an upgrade will have to wait a bit longer if they want to score a really fantastic deal.
