RTX 5060 Ti could see even less launch supply than the 5070, claims leaker

Next in the RTX 50 series lineup, rumor has it that the RTX 5060 Ti is all set to go live tomorrow, April 16th, and early performance leaks paint a positive picture, suggesting a 13–14% boost over its predecessor, the RTX 4060 Ti. However, it seems gamers may once again run into supply issues, continuing the trend we've seen with every RTX 50 series launch so far.
YouTuber and well-known leaker Moore's Law is Dead claims that Nvidia is once again not confident about having enough GPUs ready at launch. According to the leak, the RTX 5060 Ti will reportedly suffer from the same limited stock problems as the RTX 5070. He also adds that pricing could end up being higher than the actual MSRP.
Stealth launch with higher street pricing, says Moore’s Law is Dead
According to the information given to Moore's Law is Dead by a “major online retailer,” the launch situation of the upcoming RTX 5060 Ti is not only said to be “even less” than the RTX 5070 launch but is also being compared to the “stealth launches” of the RTX 2060 12 GB and RTX 3080 12 GB, potentially resulting in reviewers being unable to get samples. And the supply is not the only issue gamers are allegedly going to deal with, as due to a limited launch supply, higher street pricing is expected.
According to a pricing leak last week, we know that the GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB will have an expected MSRP of $429, with the 8GB model being priced at $379. However, Moore's Law is Dead’s source adds that the street pricing for these GPUs will “likely” land $100 above MSRP. This would mean that gamers are potentially looking at a $479 RTX 5060 Ti 8 GB and a staggering $529 RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB, making them not cheaper but instead more expensive than the RTX 4060 Ti SKUs.
