If you’re actively playing Space Marine 2 and love trying out different mods, then you need to check out the Operation Overhaul mod that was released a few days ago. This mod brings different changes and improvements to the base game, and its main goal is to “expand the experience and make things feel more dynamic and realistic.”

What does the Operation Overhaul mod offer?

Operation Overhaul is a mod over on Nexus Mods that tweaks many aspects of Space Marine 2. The creator describes it as an experiment to see what they can achieve in modding, but it already includes a lot of useful features. The biggest improvement in this mod is the addition of better bot support. Players can now have up to five bots in Operations mode, with each bot representing a different class. This is a valuable improvement for solo play, as the bots will feel more like real teammates. Some other changes to bots include:

• Bots now wear different armor pieces from the base game.
• Each bot has a unique loadout designed to support the player.
• Bots now use perks in Operations mode.
• Bots spawn with different grenade types (Krak, Frag, or Shock).

The mod also improves the weapon choices for each playable class. Every class now has access to a wider variety of weapons, making combat more fun. The mod also makes each class spawn with a different grenade type. Another big change is the increase in armor, as the mod lets each class have four bars of armor, plus two extra bars as a bonus. This will help you stay alive longer in combat. Some other changes and additions include:

• All classes have four loadout slots.
• Holstered weapons appear on the character's belt.
• Stim Packs heals 100 HP but take longer to work.
• The Genseed no longer disappears when a player dies.
