When Nvidia revealed its flagship RTX 50 series GPU, the RTX 5090, everyone expected another monster of a card, and it was. The RTX 5090 Founders Edition measured about 12 inches long, 5.3 inches wide, and 2 inches deep, roughly the same size as the RTX 4090 Founders Edition, but slimmed down to a 2-slot design. This wasn't great news for users with small cases or limited space for large graphics cards, meaning small form factor (SFF) enthusiasts were about to face a tough time. The slimmer design helped, though.

ADATA's gaming division, XPG, is ready to change that. At Computex 2025, they unveiled their new SFF-ready cases, spin-offs from the Valor Mesh and Valor Air product lines. The VALOR AIR NANO and VALOR MESH NANO are both “Nvidia-Certified” and ensure full support for the latest Nvidia RTX GPUs despite their more compact micro-ATX (m-ATX) form factors. Both models support up to m-ATX motherboards with six fans.

Supports GPUs up to 370mm long

Both of these micro-ATX cases support “high-end GPUs up to 370mm in length”. For perspective, the RTX 5090 Founders Edition measures 304mm, while one of the largest RTX 5090 models, the ASUS ROG Strix Astral OC Edition, comes in at 359mm. So even if you go for the biggest RTX 5090 SKU available, you should still have a bit of clearance left in these cases.

ModelLength (mm)
GIGABYTE AORUS RTX 5090 MASTER360 mm
MSI RTX 5090 GAMING TRIO OC359 mm
ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5090 OC Edition358 mm
ASUS TUF Gaming RTX 5090 OC Edition348 mm
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090304 mm

A demonstration build based on the Valor Mesh Nano was configured with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Founders Edition, taking up just 304mm of the available 370mm GPU clearance.

Additionally, to complement these new cases, XPG has introduced its PYMCORE SFX power supply lineup. These compact ATX 3.1 PSUs feature a front-mounted connector layout, allowing for better cable management and increased room for longer GPUs inside the new cases. The PYMCORE Platinum PSU is available in 1000W, making it suitable for most RTX 5090 builds. The Gold-rated model is available in 850W.

There were plenty of other XPG products on display, including a vertical mini-ITX case, standout chassis like the INVADER X ELITE, and even next-gen cooling solutions. However, aside from the technical showcases, pricing and release dates for these upcoming products have yet to be revealed.
