Newegg launches new bundles from time to time, each offering a collective discount on two or more PC components. We like to think that computer bundles are some of the most useful for consumers, especially if you’re not an expert in the field. Retailers (should) always guarantee that all items in the bundle will be compatible and it’s an easy way to get multiple PC upgrades in one for a discount price.

Recently, we saw a 2-in-1 bundle that offered a $40 discount on a CPU and motherboard. And now, they’ve introduced yet another bundle, but this one pairs a CPU with a GPU. So, without further ado – let’s jump straight into it.

Newegg 2-in-1 7700X bundle

Ryzen 7 7700X CPU and RTX 4060 GPU

What does the Newegg 2-in-1 7700X bundle offer?

The bundle includes two key components: a CPU and a GPU. You can learn more about them below.

CPU: Ryzen 7 7700X

First, we have the Ryzen 7 7700X CPU. This is a mid to high-range option from AMD that offers a lot in terms of power and performance. It has 8 cores and 16 threads, meaning it utilizes hyperthreading technology to offer better performance in multitasking. This basically assigns two threads to a single core. Aside from that, while it operates at a base frequency of 4.5 GHz, it can go up to 5.4 GHz for better performance.

We reviewed the Ryzen 7 7700X and gave it 4 out of 5 marks. To get an idea of its real-life performance, we tested it using various synthetic benchmarks. In CPU Z single and multi-core tests, it scored 772 and 7,983 points, respectively. On the other hand, in Geekbench, the CPU scored 3,043 points in the single-core test and 15,989 points in the multi-core test. Overall, we found it to be a solid option for both gaming and productivity tasks.

GPU: RTX 4060 EVO OC Edition

Newegg has paired the Ryzen 7 7700X with the RTX 4060 GPU, which is a budget option in the RTX 40-series lineup. However, even though it falls in the budget category, it can still deliver solid performance in 1080p gaming and can even run some games smoothly at 1440p.

When it comes to specs, the RTX 4060 has 3,072 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6 VRAM. This much memory should be enough for most games at 1080p, but you might face issues while trying to play demanding games at a higher resolution. Aside from that, while it has a boost clock of 2,505 MHz in default mode, it can go up to 2,535 MHz in OC mode. The ASUS variant also offers 0dB technology, which makes the GPU run quietly during light gaming.

We also reviewed the RTX 4060 and found it to be a great card for those who are on a budget. In CS:GO and Rainbow Six Siege, we were getting around 299 and 241 FPS at 1440p, respectively, which increased to 493 and 392 at 1080p. We then launched Cyberpunk 2077, which is a pretty demanding game. At 1080p, the GPU was able to deliver around 77 FPS, which dropped to 48 when we switched the resolution to 1440p.

How much will you save?

Newegg’s 2-in-1 bundle can help you get both items for only $578.99. If you buy them individually, you’d have to spend around $623.99. So, in short, you’ll save $45 with the bundle, which you can invest in other components, such as one of the best AIO coolers or the best power supplies for gaming.

If you want to explore more bundles, then we recommend checking out this 3-in-1 AMD bundle from Micro Center, which you can get for only $300.
