Ultrawide support comes to Stellar Blade as PC system requirements revealed
Table of Contents
Stellar Blade, Shift Upโs debut console title, is finally coming to PC, giving those who missed out on Eveโs mission due to platform limitations a chance to dive into its action-packed post-apocalyptic world. Alongside the newly released official trailer, the PlayStation Blog has shared more details about the hack-and-slash experience, including system requirements. Thankfully, theyโre fairly forgiving.
The port unlocks the full potential of PC gaming, with access to PC-specific graphics features, including the introduction of ultrawide monitor support. This covers users planning to play on super ultrawide (32:9) displays.
Your Nvidia GTX 1060 will be able to achieve 60FPS
Right off the bat, itโs clear that Shift Up has taken optimization seriously, ensuring Stellar Blade runs at a smooth 60 FPS even if you have a 9-year-old GPU. The recommended specs list an RTX 2060 Super or AMDโs RX 5700 XT, while the High preset bumps that up to an RTX 2070 Super or RX 6700 XT, which is still relatively modest compared to the steep requirements seen in many recent AAA titles.

For those aiming for 4K at 60 FPS on Very High settings, youโll need at least a Core i5-8400 or Ryzen 5 3600X, paired with an RTX 3080 or Radeon RX 7900 XT. All presets call for 16GB of RAM, and while the minimum setup doesnโt require it, 75GB of SSD space is mandatory for most configurations. The PC version also includes a few platform-specific enhancements, such as support for Nvidia DLSS 4 and AMD FSR 3 upscaling, although thereโs still no mention of Intel XeSS. The game will also use Denuvo anti-tamper tech.

The game will feature uncapped framerates, and it comes with Japanese and Chinese voice packs in addition to English. You also have support for high-resolution background textures and a wide range of aspect ratios from 5:4 to 32:9, so ultrawide monitor users wonโt run into any issues. Sony has also confirmed that the new PC content, like the boss fight against Mann, the leader of the Sentinels, and 25 additional outfits, will be coming to PlayStation 5 as well.
All signs point to Stellar Blade running smoothly on PC at launch. In fact, expectations were already high after the Nvidia DLSS trailer showed the game hitting over 100 FPS at 4K Max settings without DLSS upscaling or Frame Generation. Stellar Blade is officially launching on PC on June 11, 2025, and is currently available for pre-order on Steam.
